Samsung Galaxy A15, Galaxy A15 5G, and Galaxy A25 Released
No need to wait until 2024 in order to check out new phones. Samsung has released its new budget Galaxy line this December 2023, just in time to catch the end of the Christmas season. These are the Galaxy A15, the Galaxy A15 5G, and the Galaxy A25, and they’re now available for purchase in markets like India, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Samsung Galaxy A15 and A15 5G
Starting with the budget Galaxy A15, this phone is available in two variants: a standard LTE one and one with 5G enabled. They primarily ship with different processors, with the standard LTE version shipping with the Helio G99, and the Galaxy A15 5G coming with the Dimensity 6100+.
In terms of hardware, both are similar. Starting with the screen, you get a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution, making for a nice viewing experience when it comes to games and media.
Both phones even share the same camera set, with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50 MP main, 5 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro on the rear, and a 13 MP selfie camera on the front.
As for storage, the Galaxy A15 and A15 5G start with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage but you can also opt for 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card too, in case you do need more later down the line.

Samsung Galaxy A25
The Samsung Galaxy A25 brings in slightly beefier specs though minimal changes to the phone’s aesthetics. The phone is powered by the Exynos 1280 once found in the previous Galaxy A33 and A53, bringing midrange performance to a more affordable price segment.
TLike the Galaxy A15, the Galaxy A25 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED but with 120Hz refresh rate for an even smoother experience when it comes to scrolling through apps and browsing. Cameras are also quite similar but the A25 gets OIS on its 50 MP main shooter for better stabilization and clearer shots.
Audio gets a leg up too, with a stereo speaker setup for clearer, louder sound when listening to music, streaming videos, or playing games. And yes, the Galaxy A25 even retains its 3.5mm headphone jack.
There’s even expandable storage via microSD, allowing you to increase the Galaxy A25’s capacity from its 128 or 256 GB.
Samsung’s official website lists the Galaxy A15 LTE at PHP 9,990 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy A25 starts at PHP 18,990 for 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Stay tuned for when we get these devices at discounted prices here at your most trusted online gadget store!
