Opening the box, we are greeted with the handheld fan itself, an instruction manual, a USB Type-A to Type-C charging cable, a hand strap, and a small card certifying that the item has passed the company’s QA checks:

All-in-all, it’s a rather comprehensive package. You don’t get a charger inside the box but you should be able to use any charging brick that supports its USB cable, like this Techlife 12W charger.

Quick Rundown of Features:

For a handheld fan, we found this model from Aeroluxe to be very good. Operation is easy as you just need to click the only button you’ll see along its stem. This is also how you control your fan speeds. You can choose to switch between 5 preset fan speeds by simply pressing the same button. Or you can hold it down to manually set your preferred speed, which you can check on its built-in digital display.

Personally, we think the preset fan speeds should be good enough for most people. Setting it to the maximum 100% does result in a lot of noise however, with 50 to 75% hitting the sweet spot.

As a bit of criticism though, we think having to cycle through all of the fan’s speed settings before you can turn it off can feel unintuitive at times, especially if you’re rushing through the morning traffic.

Testing the Fan:

Aeroluxe markets their fan for travel, office, and home use though we imagine most people will be taking these on their commute most of the time. The heft makes for a surprisingly premium feel in the hand though the smooth handle could cause some slippage for those with sweatier palms. You can use the strap to help out with this though.

It’s got good battery life too, especially when hovering around that 50 to 75% sweet spot we outlined above. I was able to bring it along during my early morning commute and then later during the ride home without losing much battery in the process.

All-in-all, it’s a very solid product. We think this should easily provide you comfort during your day-to-day excursions without having to spend a premium price.
