Ninang Kim Joins the Top Filipino Innovators of 2024!

The Mansmith Innovation Awards is an advocacy project aimed at spotlighting Filipinos whose work has really transformed their respective industry and demonstrated both their commercial viability and value they’ve provided. And this 2024, we’re proud to report that Ms. Kim has been chosen for its Enterprise Innovation Award in recognition for her talents in running Kimstore as well as its achievements in improving its many sales channels!

A Win for Channel Innovation!

Under her leadership, Kimstore has steadily grown from a simple online listing and face-to-face meetups, into a large E-commerce operation fulfilling hundreds of orders per day! The store was able to stay ahead of the changing digital technologies, easily adapting to disruptions brought by social media and different online platforms as they came up.

All this was possible thanks to Kimstore’s strong focus on customer service; a timeless element that transcends technology and platforms. No matter the sales channel, she’s always kept this as a constant in Kimstore’s day-to-day operations.

Ms. Kim isn’t one to rest on her laurels as well when it comes to sales channels. She’s always ready to explore new platforms and figure out new ways to refine the online experience by streamlining the checkout process as well as experimenting with different layouts and designs.

Right now, Kimstore is also steadily known for its TikTok live sales; allowing customers to familiarize themselves with the products they wish to order as well as the charismatic hosts it invites during its live.

It’s a strategy that has brought Kimstore much success such as when it achieved record-breaking sales numbers during the iPhone 15 launch. Can it top it for this year’s iPhone 16? It’s certainly possible!

Ms. Kim will be joining other awardees such as Mr. Derrick Tan, CEO of Magna Prime Chemical Technologies, Mr. Francis Aldrine Uy, founder CEO of USHER Technologies Inc., and Mr. Michael Allan Canlas, founder and CEO of Bang Bang. The awarding will be held on October 4 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in the RCBC Building, Makati.

All four are recognized as the rising stars in terms of industry innovation, having displayed the highest potential for growth, success, and of course, valuable contribution in their respective fields.
