Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 Renders Leaked
Hot off the heels of the exciting flagship Galaxy S24 launch, renders for the midrange Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 have started emerging online. Now, the phones themselves no longer come as a surprise considering the popularity of Samsung’s A-series but, we weren’t really expecting to see them this early.
The leaks come courtesy of known leaker Evan Blass, showcasing the smartphone’s overall aesthetics as well as a few color options ranging from black, white, light pink, and even a light yellow in one of the renders.
Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 Aesthetics
Probably to no one’s surprise, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 don’t appear too different from their predecessors. Samsung’s unification of their design language seems to carry over here so if you’re a fan of the S23’s clean design with the flat back and the triple-camera lens rings that do stick out a bit, then you should feel at home with these new A-series phones.
Samsung also appears to confirm the inclusion of its Knox security suite as well as an IP rating for both of their smartphones, which should help with its durability. Last year’s Galaxy A34 for instance, had an IP67 rating that’s good for submersion in 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

Display, Camera, and Performance
Both phones are stated to come with a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with both coming in at the same 6.5-inches, making it even harder to differentiate between the two. Both phones are also expected to support 120Hz refresh rate, so the experience should be super smooth.
As far as performance goes, the Galaxy A55 is expected to come with Samsung’s new Exynos 1480 which comes with an AMD Xclipse GPU, at least according to Geekbench. The Galaxy A35 on the other hand, will sport the Exynos 1380 found in last year’s Galaxy A54. How this would translate into real-world use however, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Speaking of things borrowed from last year’s midrange, initial camera leaks show a similar setup with the 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide, and 5 MP macro camera.
Repairability
For a more “official leak” of sorts though, Samsung has mentioned that both the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35 will be easier to repair, sporting repair scores of 8.5 and 8.4 respectively according to their own official metrics.
While it’s a little vague, it mostly means that the phone requires fewer tools in order to disassemble, with its parts also being readily available as per European regulations.
Possible Launch Date?
Pre-orders for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 came up around the end of March last year so fans are expecting the same for this year’s midrange phones. We’ll let you know when we can get these items in store for you.
