Time to Play Hard! Redmagic 10 Series Set for November Release!
Go beyond just E-sports with the upcoming Redmagic 10 series! Set for a November 13 launch in China with other territories coming soon, this is one of the many flagships first coming with Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite, for best-in-class gaming performance on Android.
Let’s take a look at the number of sparse details we’re able to gather for this new, gaming-oriented release.
Top-notch Gaming with Snapdragon 8 Elite!
The Snapdragon 8 Elite’s Oryon-based architecture is said to perform quite well in mobile games, from Mobile Legends to titles like Zenless Zone Zero. Qualcomm has also expanded support for hardware-accelerated ray-tracing, helping bring better quality graphics to its supported titles. They also have their own Adreno Frame Motion 2.0, which helps improve frames while maintaining the same power consumption and visual clarity.
Of course, it’s up to Redmagic how they’ll design their phone in order to take advantage of the chip’s full power. This includes aspects like cooling which we have no idea how they’re going to implement just yet.
Leaks do point that Redmagic is planning on adding their own dedicated “Gaming Chip” in tandem with the Oryon chipset. This could help with optimization of sorts, managing background tasks so that all of the phone’s performance is directed to your game. We’ll have to wait and see once the phone releases.
Thinnest Bezels on a Gaming Smartphone?
While we don’t have the full image of the Redmagic 10 just yet, there are some leaks circulating regarding the design of the phone. For starters, the new phone will supposedly come with an under-display camera, kind of like the previous Redmagic 9 Pro, with its fully flat design.
As for the display, leaks show that Redmagic is going with a 7-inch OLED panel from BOE, with 2688 x 1216 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Plenty fast for your games while still reproducing impressive color and contrast. Additionally, the new display is also said to cut down the bezels even further. Redmagic even boasts that it’s going to be the thinnest bezels on a gaming smartphone to date.

Continue the Game with Long-Lasting Battery Life!
While Qualcomm’s promising efficiency improvements with the new chip, Redmagic’s also rumored to pack a bigger 7,050mAh battery inside the phone. It should be interesting to observe what battery drain is like once you factor in the high refresh rates and brightness of the screen.
And just in case, Redmagic is also rumored to pack a fast 100W charger inside the box. So it should only take a few minutes of downtime to get you back in the fight should you need the extra juice!
Three Different Models
Tips also point out that Redmagic is releasing three different models for this upcoming flagship line. In terms of convention, all of the initial information points to these being the Redmagic 10 Pro, Redmagic 10 Pro+, and the top-tier Redmagic 10 Ultra.
A lot of the specs we’ve already discussed are actually for the upcoming “Ultra” model in the line. We’ll just have to wait and see how the Pro and Pro+ will be different in terms of features and performance. Make sure to stay tuned!
