Well, I suppose it was inevitable. Xiaomi has just announced even more phones joining the end-of-life list, after the initial batch back in July 2024. So if you’re still rocking one of the brand’s older smartphones, you might just want to take a quick look just to see if your handset has just recently joined this device limbo.

Ending support for older Redmi and Poco smartphones!

Once support ends for a smartphone, you won’t be getting any more software and security updates. While you may not care about the latest features, your phone could be compromised by malicious actors without the latest security patches.
